DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GROUP RULES

Group / Virtual
Confidentiality
• Confidentiality is the most important part of this program.
• Anything and everything discussed in group must remain in group.
Zoom Etiquette
• You must be in a private room by yourself.
• If that is not possible, you must wear headphones to protect confidentiality.
• Your camera must remain on during group.
• Keep your microphone muted when not speaking to avoid background noise.
• No multitasking. This includes driving, cooking, laundry, etc.
• If you need to eat because it is a meal time, you may do so quietly.
Attendance
• You are considered absent/no-show if you are not logged in with your camera on within 10 minutes of the group start time.
• A No-Show fee (equal to the weekly group fee) will be charged only if you are on probation.
• This does not apply if you are on parole.
• Missing two classes in a row will result in your case being suspended and reviewed for discharge.
Respectful Communication
• You may use profanity to express yourself, but not to intimidate or harass group members or the facilitator.
• You may not use degrading language to refer to women.
• When speaking about your victim/partner, you must use their first name.
• Do not use terms such as “wifey” or simply “she.”
Appearance
• You must be fully dressed.
• No clothing with offensive language, political slogans, or affiliations is permitted.
Substance Use
• If you are prescribed cannabis or other mind-altering medications, you may continue their use.
• However, do not use these substances before or during group.
Participation
• You are encouraged to question and challenge the facilitator and group topics.
• Remember: you will only get as much out of group as you are willing to put in.

Comunicación Respetuosa
• Puede usar malas palabras para expresarse, pero no para intimidar o acosar a los miembros del grupo ni al facilitador.
• No puede usar lenguaje degradante para referirse a las mujeres.
• Al hablar de su víctima/pareja, debe usar su primer nombre.
• No se permite referirse a ella solamente como “esposa” o “ella.”
Apariencia
• Debe estar completamente vestido.
• No se permite ropa con lenguaje ofensivo, lemas políticos o afiliaciones políticas.
Uso de Sustancias
• Si tiene permitido el uso de cannabis o medicamentos recetados que alteran la mente, puede continuar usándolos.
• Sin embargo, no los use antes ni durante el grupo.
Participación
• Se le anima a hacer preguntas y desafiar al facilitador y los temas del grupo.
• Recuerde: usted obtendrá tanto del grupo como esté dispuesto a invertir.

Payment Requirements
Payment Policy:
-Substance Abuse assessments must be paid at the time of the scheduled or latest twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled assessment appointment.
-Individual Counseling must be paid at least one (1) hour before your individual session.
-Group Sessions must be paid at least one(1) hour before your group session.
Payment Methods: We accept Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay, and CC/ Debit Card (4% Charge fee on Credit Cards).
If using a credit card, the credit card must be registered to SquareUp.
Attendance/Absences
All absences must be excused by your REFERRAL AGENT, or you will be charged for the session.
Two consecutive absences will result in suspension and possible unsuccessful discharge.
You must be in the group and ready at least ten (10) minutes after the scheduled start time to receive credit.
Scheduling Rules
We require twenty-four (24) hours or more to cancel an appointment; failure to do so will result in a thirty (30) dollar fee.
