Substance Abuse Assessment (SAA)-$165

Evaluation includes a face-to-face interview and Needs Assessment measuring truthfulness, stress, attitude, emotional stability, criminal history, and substance use. Services range from one-time classes (first-time offenders, marijuana education, minor-in-possession) to ongoing programs like Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Relapse Prevention. Attorneys receive regular updates, and staff can testify on your behalf at sentencing.
Anger Management (Profile &/or Program)- $165

The Anger Management Program is a 12-week course (Wednesdays) beginning with a two-hour one-on-one profile assessing truthfulness, anger, and substance use. It teaches participants to recognize unhealthy anger, respond constructively, and improve communication.
(Note: this program does not address intimate partner violence, which is covered under domestic violence programs.)
Domestic Violence Inventory (DVI)-$165

Participants must first complete a face-to-face interview and evidence-based assessment that measures truthfulness, substance use, control, violence, and stress coping to determine eligibility for the BIP program.

Batterer’s Intervention Group Program (BIP)- $40 Per Hour
1-2 HOURS LONG.
Secure Counseling’s Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) follows the standards and curriculum of the Batterers Intervention Service Coalition of Michigan (BISCMI), of which Secure is a member. The program addresses topics such as:
Psychological, physical, and sexual abuse
Consequences of re-offending
The roles of alcohol and drugs (not causes of abuse)
Basic anger management (anger is not the cause)
Self-accountability
Building healthy intimate relationships

Substance Abuse and Relapse Prevention Group Program (SA)- $80

Substance abuse treatment helps to identify and cope effectively with high-risk situations such as negative emotional states, interpersonal conflict, and social pressure. Our Relapse Prevention Program teaches individuals with substance addiction how to anticipate and cope with the potential for relapse. This is an aftercare program, helping with coping skills training and teaching strategies.
First Time Offenders- $125 Per Hour
First-time offenders is a structured, educational course designed for individuals who are facing legal consequences related to substance use. This program helps participants understand the impact of their choices, identify triggers and risk factors, and develop healthier coping and decision-making skills. Through evidence-based discussion and self-reflection, clients gain the tools needed to prevent future offenses and make positive changes in their lives. This course is intended for low BAC first-time offenders.
Includes Minor In Possession Session.
Anger Management Group -$40 Per Hour

Anger Management counseling helps identify and address how to respond instead of react, teaches about taking personal responsibility, challenges automatic thinking, addresses harmful communication styles, and how to handle conflict healthily. We discuss what stress is and how to identify it, we discuss the seven steps to forgiveness, and the connection between expectations and anger. Secure will train you in the freeze frame technique for self-soothing and how to retreat and think things over.

Portable Breathalyzer Test (PBT)- $15
